Hoist Gearbox Oil Change Interval by Operating Hours

For  Most hoist gearboxes, the first break-in oil change is needed at 50–100 operating hours. After that, regular oil changes typically occur every 1,000 hours, or every 6–12 months if hours are low. In harsh conditions — such as heavy loads, high temperatures, or dusty environments — shorten the interval to 750 hours. Always refer to your equipment manufacturer’s guidelines for the most accurate service schedule.
